"Die Unterkunft ist schlecht beschrieben. Wir dachten es sei ein kleines Häuschen wo wir alleine sind. Leider war dem nicht so. Die Gastgeber wohnen auch in diesem Gebäude und es waren mehrere Wohneinheiten. Die Dusche war nicht sauber. Es ist meines Erachtens nichts für Familien. Poolzeit von 11-20 Uhr und Mittagsruhe von 13-15 Uhr, man soll leise sein und die Kinder dürfen nicht herumlaufen. "Over the last 40 years we have stayed at various hotels within Lido Di Jesolo but none of them come close to the luxury holiday experience that the Almar delivers! Situated on the quieter side of the resort, it oozes a calm and relaxing vibe but there are plenty of restaurants and shops just a short stroll away. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the pool was huge (and heated), some of the sun bed areas were an oasis; surrounded by a rose garden and grassed area - which was perfect for our family of 6 with an infant. The beautiful beach was a two minute walk away. Spacious rooms boasted large bathrooms and balconies. The spa facilities, the gym and the exercise classes all added to the luxury experience. We had a wonderful family holiday at the Almar and we are already planning our return visit! The only criticism we had was that the hotel charged an exorbitant amount to hire a cot!"

"Pre arrival communication was excellent and they arranged a taxi transfer for me that was smooth and efficient (and cheaper than I could have arranged myself!) The hotel was very central, reception staff were helpful in recommending local restaurants, despite the late hour. Breakfast was everything you could hope for in a bright and modern breakfast room."

"Hi, everything was great. We realised that after checking in that the kids pool was closed. That said there were other pools that my daughter enjoyed instead. Pool temp could also been a bit warmer. We were able to take out the free bikes to explore jesolo which was great! Room size was a bit small for the price. Otherwise the service, breakfast, drinks were all top notch. "

"I stayed at this hotel 13 years ago and so we knew it was nice so decided to stay here again,however it has changed drastically. We have just spent a week here,hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly but the rooms are very basic,the whole hotel needs a refurb! It is very dated and looks tired and worn. However it is clean. Very disappointed to pay 6 euros each for a bed by the swimming pool and 20 euros for a beach lounger when 13 years ago this was free and I stayed in another hotel last year and this was also free! We didn’t expect this extra cost to our holiday. Why can’t the beds be free? They should be included in the price of the hotel like other hotels. Breakfast is nice,nice variety however the coffee is out of a machine and is disgusting. Overall,we had a lovely holiday however I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. "
