"A complete change from our normal rented, rustic property, with garage in the countryside, the apartment is in the St.Jean Quarter of Perpignan, nestling in the maze of ancient streets. Quiet and very secure, we were completely at home, with the option of cooking and eating "in", or indulging in dining out - the french option of "midday formules" proved very attractive. With a pavement restaurant outside the front door, it was susprising to find so many alternatives within a few 100 yards....

"Casteil is a great base for daywalks in the Canigou region. The apartment is well equipped with a good shower, comfortable chairs and bed, and some outside seating in a communal area. Oh, and even some good restaurants in this smalvillage!"
