Dooker's Nook- Quirky coastal cottage, Pittenweem

Dooker's Nook is a traditional coastal cottage which has been given a new lease of life with its bright and quirky interior. The cottage is located on a quiet lane just steps from the shoreline, making it a great choice for a relaxing break by the sea. Taking inspiration from the owners' love of wild swimming, Dooker's Nook is a comfortable and stylish retreat with lots of homely touches. With two bedrooms, the property can accommodate up to four guests.

Entering the property there is a spacious hallway. The ground floor has a lounge with wood burning stove and Loaf sofas. The well equipped dining kitchen has everything you should need for a self catering stay. A newly refurbished shower room with walk in shower completes the ground floor. The staircase to the upper level is adorned with lots of coastal themed art work. Both bedrooms are bright with rooftops views to the sea. The double bedroom is decorated in calm neutral shades. The twin bedroom is light and fresh with a workspace ideally located to make the most of the seaviews whilst you catch up with emails.
Guests can catch the sun to the front of the property and make use of the bench and bistro set. There is a range of books and games available for quiet nights in. The seawater tidal pool is a short walk away, perfect for a refreshing early morning swim or to cool down after a day exploring the area.
Pittenweem is one of the beautiful East Neuk fishing villages on the East coast of Fife, famed for coastal walks, picture perfect scenery and fabulous fresh produce. St Andrews is 15 minutes by car and Edinburgh one hour.

Loved the property and its location. We used the property as a launch pad to go to Falkirk, Stirling, and Edinburgh.

An excellent base for exploring Saint Andrews and Fife. If you like wild swimming you'll not be disappointed. The tidal swimming pool is very handy to the property and there are lots of small beaches to enjoy locally.

Nice little cottage, everything great,Although due to hot weather, an issue with heat in family room, even with fan on the temperature was too high for toddler, min 22 to a high 27/29 degs. Would have helped if a pole supplied to open window at top of stairs. Or a different fan. This is not a complaint, but a recommendation for warmer weather.
