Tall Ship, Anstruther is a lovely townhouse with excellent sea views
There are excellent views from this lovely townhouse, looking over Anstruther's harbour, Isle of May and Firth of Forth. Tall Ship is a beautiful base to explore Billow Ness Beach, restaurants, shops, and beyond, with so much on offer. Furnished and decorated to a high standard, with a view from the three upper floors of the sea and nearby small harbour. The house has many quirky features, from a window seating area where you can admire the view to artistically designed stained glass that builds the character of this unique property, laid out vertically over four floors.
The open plan, kitchen, dining and living area that benefits from a wood-burning stove create a small reading nook. A well-equipped kitchen and a table extend to six persons allowing breakfast or home-cooked meals with There is a ground floor, a front-facing double room with ensuite toilet and shower room, a master bedroom and a twin bedroom which both benefits from sea views over Billow Ness, the winner of a Seaside Award from Tidy Britain. The sandy bay of Billow Ness, part of the 117-mile coastal path, is an ideal place for wildlife enthusiasts, walkers or those looking to relax. You can cross from the house to the esplanade at low tide via a series of stepping stones! Also, the property has a large family bathroom with a bath and a shower, WC and wash-basin. It is not possible to park outside the house, except to unload or load, but there is adequate free parking only a short (3-4 mins) walk away. With plenty of places to eat, from the legendary Anstruther Fish Bar and Restaurant to the Michelin-starred fine dining experience at The Cellar, you will get a taste of fresh, locally sourced ingredients and East Neuk hospitality. There is an adequate "corner shop" open from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm just around the corner and also a more extensive "Co-op" just 5 minutes walk away on St Andrews Road.

Lovely snug place to stay .Plenty of space for the whole family ,house had lovely personal touches .
Would gladly stay at this place again .The house was very clean ,homely and had plenty of space for the whole family .The town itself has plenty of eateries ,lively walks and wee individual shops.Although the tall ship is near the road on the side street it was very quiet and the views from the upstairs bedroom was fantastic .Would defo recommend this house for both space and something that wee bit different and I will gladly be booking it in the near future again on our next visit .
Thanks for a most pleasurable stay ❤️

In the heart of Anstruther
A good location which can get a touch noisy at night with the pub/restaurant next door however they close at 11pm.
If you are tall you must be careful on the doors! Plenty of facilities for our family stay - laundry room etc.
Fife Premier stays are a super responsive letting agent so no problem with customer care.

Lovely quirky flat
The flat is really nice. The bedrooms are all spacious and clean
The views are amazing from each room.
The kitchen is very well equipped.
Livingroom is very cosy with the log fire.
It's very central, restaurant and bars 5 mins.
Harbour is on your doorstep.
We booked the weekend of Storm Bert.
All of us where drenched but the hosts let us get in 3 hrs early. We where absolutely grateful of this. Definitely go back to this property.

Situated perfectly in the heart of Anstruther
We booked the Tall Ship for a short break away in October, it’s perfectly situated, 2mins from the beach and all the amenities, parking is a 5 minute walk away. The facilities were great and we did thoroughly enjoy our wee trip! The only criticism we all had (5 of us) was that the quality of the beds let the house down, the 2 double beds creaked and squeaked to the point you didn’t want to move ! The overall quality of the beds were substandard and we all obviously didn’t get the required sleep!

Ok
Not very clean upon arrival
Bath didn’t work
Mould in bathroom
No parking at property (which is disclosed on website but what wasn’t disclosed was arts festival was on at time of booking and so no local parking which meant had to park ten mins away from property )
Very convenient location for walking around Anstruther. Parking was not great but available a short distance away along the street. It took two days to get WiFi because the equipment was changed and the login information was not. Lots of stairs in the unit. Convenient to restaurants and bars.

Family Break
In need of a full refresh. The stair carpet was dirty and there were damp patches on some of the ceilings. Living area was cramped and not really comfortable for six adults. The kitchen was well equipped but again when using the dining area it was cramped. On the plus side we had great weather and the venue was central

The Tall Ship @Anstruther
The Tall Ship is in a great location but unfortunately with a dog and no garden we had to walk her each morning early to the harbour. Our grandchildren enjoyed the quirkyness of the house! It had all we needed in the kitchen and enough towels etc for our 4day stay. One thing I think would improve is to have a couple of lamps in the sitting area as the ceiling lights very bright while watching t.v. ( table lamp in the twin bedroom not working!) Instructions as to where the rubbish bins were wasn’t clear and we had to phone to find out- we managed to take our rubbish to some bins nearby on the street? All said we would recommend The Tall Ship as it’s in a great location although parking also a nightmare! We had to park up in the car park by the Co-Op!
