"Getting to Zara is a slight trek, a taxi drops you to the nearby village and then it’s up to you to negotiate a 10 minute speed boat ride to the property on the mangroves. When we arrived Zara village had no guests except us, for the 4 days. Coordinating our excursions and travel was lovely Anatalie. "A Gem! Great, clean facilities; good amenities. Helpful staff coordinated airport transfers, an excursion to Lokobe, and scuba for us. Breakfast and dinner buffets were good quality and selection. Overall, we loved it! Note for excursions, it is a separate company embedded in the hotel so that is paid separate from your hotel folio. "
