"I enjoyed my stay at American River in this rustic cabin set in a relaxed bush setting close to American River inlet . Victoria was an excellent host providing lots of valuable tips on the area and ferry bookings etc . "

"We stayed there for one night to catch the morning ferry. The property we originally booked is located at Baudin Beach which is 10 minutes drive to the ferry. Luckily, we got upgraded to another property in Penneshaw which is only 2 minutes drive to the ferry. This property is much bigger and a lot nicer. We love the smart TV that allows us to logon to our Netflix account. The kitchen has everything we need for cooking our breakfast. Very happy with the stay."

"Comfortable residence. The beach was a disappointment as it is not a swimming beach and quite rocky. Close to Penneshaw. A few small things could be done, torn flyscreen, wrong size curtains on front door but we enjoyed our stay."

"Colin was very helpful at every stage of the process. The house was perfect for two couples and two children. We loved the views, the fairy wrens and the back deck. Rain on the roof was a real bonus."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice stay with convenient location. The room is super clean and fresh. However the pillows are way too high and hard for me. It would be good if lower profile pillows were provided."

"A perfectly clean, convenient, and well designed locations for a stay in the bush. Great for those that love the outdoors but want the comfort of a house. Huge windows and a very thoughtful design welcome the views of nature, while the provisons, fireplace, and comfortable bed made it a very pleasant stay."
