Casa Solcor

"The staff was fabulous. They made my stay a 5-star experience. The property was exceptionally clean. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and included made to order items. I had the bad luck of going to San Pedro during one of the few times in which there were cloudy skies and rain. I was quite disappointed. Stargazing was the primary purpose of my trip. The staff was very helpful and suggested other activities for me. They showed genuine concern about making my trip a pleasant experience. I loved my stay at the Casa Solcor."

Hotel La Casa de Don Tomas

10/10 Excellent

"Overall a nice stay at El Refugio La Casa de Don Tomas. The room is big and quiet and the location is roughly 10 minutes away from city center. Keep in mind that the rooms have no air conditioning so they get quite stuffy during the day. The breakfast is quite disappointing as it’s very basic. The sweet treats are very good which makes it overall a bit strange that the meal offering is so basic."

"The hotel and grounds was beautiful! The staff was very helpful and kind. Alejandra was especially helpful and welcoming. She helped us secure a transfer to the airport as well as recommendations for bike rentals and other information. The grounds has 3 lovely dogs on property who are adorable and sweet. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"Staff very helpful and friendly, although no English. Happy to converse using translation tools. Swimming pool was closed due to it being winter, which I didn’t reslise when I booked. A couple of times there was no water, no electricity and no wifi, but staff worked to resolve the issue. Breakfast was very good and there was free tea, coffee and iced drinking water available all day. I didn’t have supper at the hotel but did have some drinks at the bar by the open fire which was welcoming and warm."
