"We had a really nice room with a view of the estuary. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but we ate dinner at the hotel on the first night and the main course was poor quality. There is no lounge, just a couple of settees in the bar area. There are 2 nice lawn areas to sit out but only with chairs and tables. It would have been nice if they had provided cushions and parasols as the weather was hot."

"Very reasonably priced for what we wanted and breakfast included. Have a pool with a bonus as the weather was quite warm and Amy the girl looking after the pool was very attentive, as we didn’t have any towels left in the room and she provided them and always seem to be cleaning up and tidying in the spa area. Breakfast was well stocked and in a delightful dining room and again the staff were very attentive. Tom who looked after us on our arrival was extremely polite and very informative. Overall can’t follow the Hotel or the staff and as it was our anniversary weekend they’d also laid the towels out like two swans with rose petals on the bed as well on our arrival, which was unexpected but a very pleasant surprise."

We were lucky enough to have fabulous weather during our stay, which made the whole experience feel even more special.The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the welcome hamper was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is spacious, immaculately kept, and beautifully furnished throughout. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, giving us great nights’ sleep after long sunny days.We loved that there are a couple of lovely places to eat just a 10‑minute walk away, with Seaton only a further 10 minutes along the coast — perfect for relaxed strolls and easy meals out.We had a fantastic time and would definitely love to visit again."
