Cons: Lumpy uncomfortable beds; thin walls; dirty A/C and bathroom fans; pool water, pool deck and loungers not clean; gross smell in hallways; understaffed restaurant. Overall this is an aging property with bright paint and furnishings to mask its imperfections. The price was fair but we were not very comfortable."

"The property is older and some parts of it are run down (like the pillows of the pool cabanas), but our family of 4 had a relaxing time spending 3 nights here. The price was inflated because of Cochella, so it was probably not worth $399 per night for 2 queen beds. There wasn't much ventilation in the bathroom, so it got kind of musty in there and the property is so massive it was a long walk to the lobby. I would recommend if you can get the regular rate ($135/night) and not have to pay up during high season. My husband had a massage at the spa ($165 for 1 hr) and said it was great. The workout room was really nice and we intended to use the free bikes but never did."

"This out of the way hotel/casino is on my way to Palm Desert. I enjoy taking an extra day and stay the night here. The casino is small but fun, great bar and VERY reasonable drinks and the restaurant here is amazing! Great menu, great prices!!!"
