"I have seen reviews that are not correct. You can use a bus or a train to get around everywhere you want. (Just don't rent a car from Sixt [They will rip you off]). I used the 70 bus to the train station and in an hour you are at the airport, get the 24 or 48 hour pass that covers but the bus and train. If you still have to have a car, they have gated parking for you. The staff speaks English, some better than others. Housekeeping is the best, they do an excellent job, its shows that they care. The buffet wasn't for me, but it did have unlimited coffee, various pastries that would cost you way more than if you go down the street. The rooms have mini splits so you can control the room temperature hot or cold."

"Wow what an estate. It takes you back to a time in the 30s. The art the library the furniture and estate grounds were wonderful. We found an amazing restaurant and had a wonderful evening on out last night in Italy. Close enough to the airport and yet near the ocean. "

"This is a well-maintained hotel. The room was spacious and very clean; the lady in charge of the housekeeping did a great job. Breakfast was included and well presented with enough choices. The waitresses in the morning were always very accommodating, contrary to the not-so-helpful young waiter that worked in the afternoon/nights. The hotel is not close to the center of Rome but there is a bus stop at walking distance that takes you to the Laurentina metro station with service to the Coliseum and Termini stations."

"We enjoyed our 6 day stay at Donatella's home! She picked us up from the airport late at night! I will never forget that incredible gesture of kindness. We were able to wLk a very short distance to coffee shop, several ristorantes and pizzeria. Supermercato is close by as well. I enjoyed sitting in the back under the canopy during the day and late at night. Neighborhood is very quiet. I loved the mattress and bedding on the double bed in rom with half bath. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, cutlery etc. My only gripe is no ice. They do not sell bags of ice anywhere! Remedy- we bought ice making bags at supermarket, fill with water and place in freezer for few hours...worked out great. We were comfortable and happy we selected Donatella's house."
