Such a lovely stay! All of the staff were super friendly and kind, the kitchen was super useful and the complimentary breakfast was great! The pool and gardens are gorg!
Welcoming atmosphere, nice garden setting with pool, lovely staff and a great breakfast each morning. There's also a kitchen to use if you feel like cooking. Bring earplugs for the traffic noise during the night though.
I enjoyed my stay at the Samoan Outrigger Hotel very much. The staff were very friendly and helpful in all regards, offering suggestions on visiting area of the island. Cable or satellite television would be the only upgrade I would recommend. I will certainly visit the hotel again in the future.

I like boutique hotels and this establishment follows those sort of lines - historical artefacts, antique furniture and photos showcasing the local Apia history dating back 100 years and more. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was nicely presented.
we enjoyed our family group stay here. Staff were helpful, great location and atmosphere. Excellent pool facilities and breakfast included with the stay was delicious.
The place has many of the best restaurants in close proximity. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it feels very peaceful. Exceeds expectations for the cost.
I absolutely cannot fault the beautiful staff at The Samoan Outrigger Hotel. They were very attentive and made my stay so enjoyable, from the lovely breakfasts to the tips and recommendations for what to do in Samoa and little chats here and there around the hotel. I had an early day trip one morning and asked if it would be possible to have a packed breakfast at 6am and the staff packed me some hard boiled eggs, crackers and a whole bunch of fruits which absolutely saved me on the ferry to Savai’i. I stayed in room 11 which had the ensuite, a mini fridge, aircon and mini patio with chairs and tables for you to seat outside and enjoy the garden. Room was cleaned everyday and though basic, had everything I needed. There is a shared kitchen and dining area for all guests just next to the pool. I really enjoyed my stay. I do want to note that the gym next door starts pumping very loud music as early as 6.30am in the morning which is not the hotel’s fault and wasn’t an issue for me as I’m an early riser but good to note that even if with the doors closed, you’d still be able to hear the music and beeping which may be an issue for guests who like to sleep in.
Beautiful stay and staff were incredible and so helpful they truly make the staff beautiful dry humble and loving the attention to care and attention to little things made it by far next to none x One lady in particular she just attended to our needs over and above 🙏 Look forward to staying again.
The rooms are basic and clean the property is an old colonial style place and Samoa fales for hire setting surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden and a pool, they serve a different breakfast each day very nice, the staff are lovely and helpful. The dining area is available for use to the guests and a communal kitchen. We often would buy food and bring it back and eat at the dining area. Felt like a true Samoan experience better one of the larger hotels. One slight negative is not safe to keep food in the communal kitchen, other than that everything else is fab, I would come back here and so would my family.
This was a beautiful and peaceful property. It’s not spotless like a resort, but it is wonderful and comfortable. The staff is phenomenal and so helpful for all your needs. They called me so many taxis and helped make sure they would come (often calling them again). I stayed in the Fale, and it’s such a cool experience. It’s definitely more like camping, but it’s unique and fun. Make sure to bring an extension cord because the power outlets are on the ceiling in the fales.
The Outrigger is a hidden Gem in Apia. The staff is exceptionally friendly and keen to help with qny request. The rooms are comfy and clean and the garden beautiful.
This was the perfect place to spend our last two days in Samoa.
Staff were fantastic and lovely gardens.
Location for us perfect as we had a vehicle

The staff were all so lovely and friendly, and went out of their way to help me. It was very clean, the included breakfast was delicious and I loved the beautiful gardens and the pool. It is only about 15 minutes walk to town or a 4 minute drive.
I always enjoy staying at the Samoan Outrigger. This was my second visit in six months and each were very enjoyable experiences. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel and environs are beautifully maintained. Fa'afetai lava!
Overall a good stay but would highly recommend a restaurant at the property. I had to walk out of the hotel to look for food and mostly restaurants are closed during the weekend.
