"Check in was quick and easy. All staff we encountered were lovely and friendly and smiley. The twin room was very large with 2 queen beds. The shower, nice pressure and hot. Air Con worked fine. The breakfast was nice. Plenty of pool lounges and pool was a great size. Totally walkable into town, a bit further to markets. As we have been before didnt bother going again. Beautiful well maintained gardens, We had zero problems during our one night stay before heading further afield in Samoa. I did read some reviews before booking and was a bit hesitant but since it was only for one night, I thought what the heck. So glad we did, the property is slighty tired in places but really no need to be concerned unless you are a total whinger with a zero factor life. When in Samoa again I will book again at the Tanoa. "Thank you for the wonderful stay! Minimal contact with the staff but no fault or theirs we arrived wishing for a quiet arvo/eve before family time on the island and it was exactly what we got Loved the outdoor shower and the room itself was very at home! Looking forward to future stays!"

"The property is the finest in Samoa! The views were incredible. The beach and pool were perfect for keeping cool. The food was good, I didn’t get sick at all (I’m sensitive tummy). The activity boys were fantastic! I can’t compliment these guys enough! My husband got to cook on the imu and eat the delicious food! We made lava lava and did a snot tour. They have many options. The massage was the best we’ve ever had, 90 minutes and we felt like we were refreshed!"

"Unfortunately I didnt book a room with aircon so we literally slept with the fan on top of us. The shower floor upstairs was a bit unstable - I hope its safe. But overall Im so glad we were there, its unique and bungalow type, the staff were amazing and I cant wait to go back. "

"The air conditioner in the room was amazing! Also all of the hotel staff were great - very kind and friendly and made sure I had what I needed and answered all my questions. I was even able to arrange a ride to the airport (for a fee) with them. The breakfast is Chinese food which was fun and the dishes changed every day and some of it was really good (my favorite was this okra dish). FYI there’s no elevator. The location is convenient - walkable to shops, restaurants (McDonald’s was like a seven minute walk), banks, the Samoa Cultural Village and the visitors center are like across the street and it’s right next door to the Australian Commission. Would stay here again the next time I’m in Apia! "
