"A charming old manor house with an excellent welcome from friendly hosts Nick and Wendy. My room was large and comfortable, the shower was forceful and hot (very necessary, but often not in other B&Bs), and the breakfast very good. I will return."

"Great lodging! A very short walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Smelled fresh, very clean. Our 1 bedroom was terrific. Full kitchen, living space with couch and tall desk table. Bathroom tiny but worked for us…and so clean! Bed was comfy. Front desk person was kind and welcoming. This place was ideal for a one night stay AND would be terrific as a base for several nights while exploring the area. Easy train to Southampton, and also to Bath. Busses that go to Stonehenge. Walking...

"Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. "
