"Excellent hotel. Location was perfect - right on the beach but also right next to the old town. Lucy on reception was so helpful and was always willing to help with anything, including lending umbrellas and chairs for the beach. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Menton."

"This is a fantastic property, you feel you are still in 1890 with the interior kept to that standard and time. Wonderful seating areas with a 1900 bar make you feel Poirot will come around a corner. Breakfast is served in a grand hall makes you think you are dining with royalty. We'll lo e to come back in the near future"

"Love the view. Breakfast good. Service needs serious improvement - maybe a little war torn from the"season", however Fall travelers also deserve a postive upbeat experience. Esepcially because one is isolated in this hotel - meaning taking the car back to EZE or elsewhere although really no big deal - can be something weary travelers don't want to have to do early in the morning or for dinner (especially if you enjoy your cocktails and wine)....making the food, drinks and service vital to a complete stay. Also - get rid of the old fashioned European tubs where clmbing in and out is scarier than driving the Corniches! Add a shower or find a way to lower the tubs and put safety handles - they can be pretty! The proerty hasn't changed in 16 years otherwise except for well done freshening up and it shouldn't! Always a joy to visit Eze!"

"The place is phenomenal - the property sits on top of a hill overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The views are incredible. The room we got was top notch with mind blowing views - you can sit all day and do nothing but gaze at the boats in the sea. The breakfast was included and delicious, the Michelin Star restaurant food was outstanding. The service calls for some improvement - we ordered room service and had to call multiple times to get them to clear the plates away; we had to call multiple times to get water. Keep in mind - this is an expensive hotel, so they assume you don't need to ask for the price of additional services you get there and can afford them. It is like the JP Morgan's famous idiom regarding his yacht Corsair: "If you have to ask the cost, you can't afford it.""

"Very welcoming staff.Lovely bright clean room. Gorgeous views from balcony (4th floor) Spa balcony lovely to sit out early evening. Well situated to wander along beach front. Not very far from Old Town for evening walks. We didn’t book breakfast but little bar downstairs was lovely to come back to on the evening."
