Hotel Riu Palace Aruba - All Inclusive

"We had a wonderful vacation at Riu Aruba! The buffet was excellent, and the à la carte restaurants were also very good. The pool and beach are beautiful, and the location is fantastic. We walked along the beach path and to the shops across the street. However, for families traveling with young children, I would recommend that the resort replace its cribs. My 13-month-old was able to peel off some of the paint and put it in his mouth, which was concerning. Additionally, the resort provided only loose, flat sheets rather than properly fitted crib sheets, which poses a potential suffocation hazard. Had I known this in advance, I would have brought my own fitted crib sheets. My husband was able to tuck the provided sheet securely under the mattress, but I was still nervous about the safety of the sleeping arrangement. Overall, we had a great stay, but I hope the resort addresses these crib safety concerns to make the experience safer and more comfortable for families with young children."

"Constitution going on for a new rooftop bar and updating the buffet at the Divi. All of the restaurants were great. One recommendation is to bring back the coffee carafes during breakfast on the table at the buffet."

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Barceló Aruba last week. The resort is beautiful, and there is plenty to enjoy. A special thank-you to the front desk staff, who were incredibly kind and accommodating when helping me modify my reservation due to unexpected family circumstances. Unfortunately, two things affected our experience. First, housekeeping was disappointing. Rooms were not properly cleaned, with staff mainly changing towels and bedsheets and taking out the garbage. They were also extremely late. We would leave in the morning with the cleaning sign displayed, only for housekeeping to arrive around 4–5 PM, when we were already back from lunch. Second, some staff interactions were less than welcoming. At the Palm Buffet, the lady preparing eggs made fun of my family on our first morning because of our language barrier, even commenting that we didn’t speak Spanish. In the following days, she continued giving us unpleasant looks and barely acknowledging us. Unfortunately, this was not the friendly hospitality I have experienced at other resorts. On a positive note, a special shout-out to Armando for making our experience unique and memorable! Overall, Barceló Aruba is a beautiful resort, and we enjoyed our vacation. With better housekeeping and more welcoming service, it could easily be a five-star experience. I’d still recommend it!"

"I would like to compliment the staff at the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba – Beach Resort & Casino on my stay. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and appreciated the resort’s atmosphere and accommodations. I would, however, like to offer two suggestions for improvement. First, I believe all staff members should make an effort to greet guests with a smile and a friendly acknowledgment, regardless of their position or location within the resort. A simple smile and greeting go a long way in making guests feel welcomed and appreciated. Second, there should be clearer signage in the pool area indicating where guests should return their used towels. This would eliminate confusion and make the process more convenient for everyone. These are small improvements that could make an already enjoyable resort experience even better. Thank you for your hospitality."

"the property is beautiful, clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. Favorite spot _ sunset grille for dinner outside 5:30 or 6pm reservations a must! also ask about the Sparkling sunset package - Giovanni is a perfect host and coordinator! My only disappointment is that the beach shaded Palapas are not complimentary to guest and must reserved in advance at an additional cost, it is so hot it is a must have if you plan to be on the beach most of the day. It would be nice to have beach umbrellas as a complimentary option as the hotel stay cost inistself should at the very least provide beach umbrellas as an option. Another noted thing was the lack of activities in the lobby area, happy hour or music etc. The nearby Hyatt for example is much livelier, and had salsa dance lessons on the beach! if you prefer quiet and less activity then Hilton will workout fine, Overall, it is a wonderful hotel, and we had a great stay."

"Very nice stay at the Riu Aruba Antillas! - Clean room and comfortable beds - Pool and bar area were clean - Great variety of food options, only thing that was annoying was First Come, First Serve for the “specialty” restaurants. - Beach was beautiful; no rocks just beautiful sand and clear turquoise water. In addition, there was a platform to swim to where you can snorkel and see several different types of fish. Hotel is a bit dated but I would certainly come again!"
