"This was my first stay at this apartment in Manistee, but I have visited Manistee multiple times; Monica's apartment did not disappoint. Plus, Monica was easy to communicate with. "We had a very nice stay at the condo. The location is great for walking to everything downtown near the river. The owner was prompt to answer a call when we had a little difficulty getting the key code to work . He came and not only fixed the door key code situation but carried bags into the condo. "We were looking for a place to stay and be close to the beach of Lake Michigan. It was a wonderful couples getaway. A place to rest and relax. A nice welcome note greeted us and the owners checked in on us midway during our stay. Very kind! We explored Frankfort, went down to the beach at sunset, drove up to Glen Arbor for some wine tasting and toured Point Betsie Lighthouse. Plenty to do in the 4-5 days we were there. "We vacation in Frankfort every summer and have family who stay on Crystal Lake. We were very impressed with the apartment. Some observations not apparent in the listing itself: very spacious with tall ceilings, central air conditioning (yay!), both beds are comfortable and fairly new queen sized (listing indicates one is king), the kitchen has a full size drip coffee maker with a mesh basket, and the television is large with basic cable and good wifi connection. "This was a great rental for participating in the IM 70.3. The location is an easy walk or short bike ride to the Frankfort waterfront. The neighborhood is quiet and a nice location for occasionally spotting town deer (deer that wander around town) any time you step out the door. Property and apartment are up to date and well maintained. The apartment met or exceeded our expectations."
