One thing I would suggest for the hotel is to provide slippers and a shelf in the shower stall for our personal toiletries would have been helpful. "We had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Port Charlotte. Check-in via the app was super smooth, and the digital key worked great. The property was very clean. Our room was so comfortable, and the water view was worth the extra few dollars. We even got to see alligators mating! Plus, the breakfast was really good. We’d absolutely stay here again!"

"The lanai, private pool, and lake view are very nice. The rest of the house is OK. A number of items about the maintenance of the home were not great. The neighborhood is a mix of nice homes and not so great homes. This rental is somewhere in between.Port Charolette is not really a vacation town."
