Built by his grandfather and lovingly restored recently, Villa Carlucci met all of the needs of our American family while we visited our Abruzzese family. The many bedrooms and baths accommodated our children and grandchildren perfectly. The pool and grounds were an added bonus. "Our little apartment nestled high on the mountain hillside was just perfect. Such a stunning view of the countryside. Our family and friends live in Pennadomo a mountain town just 25 minutes away so this was a good location with plenty of conveniences not far away. The big plus was our hosts, Lynda and Rob. So very accommodating. We were your typical uninformed tourist (didn't want to say dumb). They bent over backwards for us. Helped us so much. Villasfor2 is out-of-the-way but very accessible...

"An old fasion hotel. Only the young personal speak English. I don't like americans either but it is the international languaje. The personal at the restaurant were very unpleasant, either at Donner as at breakfast. If You don't like tourist, DONT HAVE A HOTEL."
