We took a chocolate making class and went on the night walk in the jungle. It is an eco resort, so don’t expect hot showers, which is usually a deal breaker for me. "Loved Hacienda! A beautiful stay only 15 mins from the airport but felt like you were surrounded by pure nature in a different world than the city of Quito. The walk on the trails is stunning, and the history is fascinating to learn how the owners discovered the tunnels on site and the Incan history connected to it. Oscar is so knowledgeable on the history!
Beautiful rooms, amazing food, the grounds are so peaceful it’s hard to think you are in Quito, lots of wild coloured birds, so many hummingbirds, 2 beautiful lamas, beds so comfortable and even have electric blanket in case you get cold, the room has a log burner too! Amazing shower and towels, bathrobe and toiletries! I will mention the food again, 5 star!!"
"I had a wonderful experience at the Hacienda Morntinos, I love the views to the Cotopaxi, we arrived by midnight, people were there to greet us. Our room was beautiful/clean 4 Queen beds, super clean bathroom, Breakfast in the morning was like been home, delicious, in the restaurant Carlos suggested us to go by the lake, nice open walk traveling thru the mountains breath taking, my pictures are like artwork, majestic views the volcanos, In my next trip i am going to this Hacienda for more days, finally found peace, fresh cold are, views and food, the right place to get away from the city and the crazy working city life. Total peace and quiet just to enjoy nature."
"Pool and jacuzzi were maintained daily and it was the perfect way to finish off the day with a couple of beers. Alcohol and snacks are sold half a block away. Breakfast was decent, staff friendly and there is enough parking. Make sure to close the windows at night unless you want to be awaken by roosters at 5am."
