"La maison est à 900 m. d’altitude, au niveau de Queimadas que l’on rejoint le long d’une levada, à 2 km, et près de la route montant au Ruivo. Elle est au milieu des arbres, et a un beau jardin. "As the name implies, this was an excellent place to get to know Madeira. The grounds of this property is truly a gardener’s paradise with *labeled* endemic Madeiran species as well as exotics, including massive rhododendrons. The home itself was very clean and cozy with all the comforts needed.
