The grounds of this property is truly a gardener’s paradise with *labeled* endemic Madeiran species as well as exotics, including massive rhododendrons. "La maison est à 900 m. d’altitude, au niveau de Queimadas que l’on rejoint le long d’une levada, à 2 km, et près de la route montant au Ruivo. Elle est au milieu des arbres, et a un beau jardin. C’est une maison d’autrefois aux murs de grosses pierres recouverts de boiseries à l’intérieur. Elle est aménagée de façon moderne, tout le confort s’y trouve, elle est chauffée par des radiateurs soufflants situés en hauteur, utiles dès qu’on est à l’intérieur, du fait de températures entre 14° et 10°...

"Das Haus ist eine sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft auf Madeira. Victor ist ein hervorragender und sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Selten haben wir es erlebt, das und soviel Zeit gewidmet wurde. Tipps zu Restaurants, Umgebung, Ausflüge etc. Die Ausstattung bietet alles was ein schöner Urlaub braucht. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt. Auch die Aussenanlage ist gut gepflegt und bietet viel Platz zum Erholen. Der abendliche Blick auf Funchal ist phantastisch....

"Quiet tidy accomodation. Away from other holiday makers. Jhonny local caretaker friendly and offered help but none was needed. Thomas gave good directions as we arrived in early evening and it was dark but no difficulty finding the villa. Friendly bar just a couple of minutes up the road walking for cold beer and cooked us a pizza despite being after 9pm."
