"This is our second time staying at this location and once again was an exceptional stay. The host has even installed a generac for power back up since the last time, which came in extremely useful as we had a storm that knocked out power halfway through our stay, but having this allowed us to continue our stay. Otherwise, we would have had to leave as power was out for the rest of the duration. The host is very good at responding to any questions you may have and the location is great. We will definitely look at going again."

"From booking to checkout, the experience was perfect. Cathy is beyond lovely and very responsive to all our questions and requests. The property is perfect. Its close to neighbours but you would never know. It feels very secluded and peaceful. Cathy really thought of every little detail. The front yard is big enough to play some soccar or set up a badminton net. The backyard is truly heaven. There is a large enough space for big groups but also plenty of small seating areas if you want to do your own thing. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants some time away in paradise. "

"Excellent travel directions, lovely spacious screened in porch overlooking a tranquil lake. Older cottage, bathroom renovated very nice, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more. Owner was very helpful when we encountered a minor problem. Overall a wonderful stay, thank you!"

"The communication with Andriy was excellent. We recieved a nice detailed note with everything we might need to know about our stay. VRBO had served us this stay when we did a filtered search for places with a hot tub and we saw one in the pictures. When we found the tub empty, we reached out to ask how to set it up, only to be informed that it didn't work. Andriy explained that they had never listed it as an amenity, and generously offered us a partial refund. I was grateful for the sincerity and transparency of the interaction. The place was very clean when we arrived. The sofa is not terribly comfortable, especially as a bed, but it was good enough. The proper bed was super comfy and what a treat it was to wake up to the gorgeous view over the lake. The grey decor felt quite out of place for a lakefront cabin, but the plaid blanket and cushions helped. My one big suggestion for the interior would be lamps: the ceiling full of undimable cool white pot lights was way too bright for my friend and me, and while we did figure out a solution for a comfortable light level, it wasn't great. The kitchen was also well-appointed, other than lacking a ladle, and having a dishwasher was so so appreciated! Finally, the location and setting are truly wonderful. Easy to access, super quiet, gorgeous lake views, animals and their tracks. I would absolutely recommend staying here and as long as you're not expecting cottage vibes, you'll be happy."
