"Loved our room and the entire hotel. I believe there were only 2 other guest rooms occupied when we were there in late March 2026. Breakfast was delightful and Rizea was particularly nice to pack us a to go breakfast when we needed to leave early in the morning on our first day there. Loved the glassed enclosure and the beautiful indoor gardens. We’d definitely stay there again! "

"If you are looking for a nice warm and quiet stay in Newlands outside of the craziness of downtown. This is the place to be, lovely couple that own the Newlands Guesthouse with fantastic staff. If only they had control of the weather. I went it the autumn and lots of rain."

The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast every morning was fantastic. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cape Town."
