"This was our favorite stay during our trip to Ireland. The location was very nice, but it was the quality of the house that stood out. A lovely welcome with some food items, thick robes in the bedroom, the outdoor space overlooking the stream were among the things that added up to make this our favorite. We were a group of family -- three single retired women and a couple, and we appreciated the room to spread out."

"The location of the property can’t be bettered. Stunning views and almost complete privacy. Some of the amenities in the area are closed at present but it’s a good base for exploring. The property needs a little bit of a face lift but is very spacious."

"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. "We stayed here for 3 nights and found the house to be a lovely departure point for our outings to Killarney national park and the ring of Kerry. We loved how we could walk to town to shops and restaurants and the grocery store safely and easily. The local bus stop was also easy to access. The home is spacious and well appointed. The yard was an extra bonus for my son to kick a soccer ball around. The brown bread and fruits were a welcome treat after a long drive."

"This place was amazing in its proximity to area towns and attractions. It had a great view of the sea, and the place was very clean and tidy. Teri was very helpful in aiding us to the place, and she even had a cake dessert and some coffee pods for us when we arrived. She went through everything very thoroughly and was always available via What's App for our questions. I recommend this to any family/friend group (we were 9). Lots of space, great bedrooms, very clean. So glad we chose this place....

"We stayed in this beautiful house last week. It felt as if staying with friends or family, Eithne was so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The house is so well equipped and the owners had left dishwasher tabs, surface spray, tin foil etc this was so helpful. Thank you. The house is clean and comfortable, electricity & fuel use is paid at the end of the holiday, which I thought was a very good idea in these times when we should be conserving energy. "Tucked away on the sea with a cozy old world atmosphere was the perfect location to celebrate a big birthday and relax. Wonderful views with big windows out and we swam from the back garden at high tide! Kitty was extremely helpful organising a bbq for us and very welcoming. I would highly suggest this house and it's perfect location right in the centre of Beara."

"We had a lovely stay at Pallas Lodge, the house was amazing, with the best view ever! Pat and Kay met us on day one, showed us around the house and then gave us some ideas of where to visit on the Beara Peninsula. There was food and milk in the fridge for us for breakfast the next morning also! If you want a quiet undisturbed holiday on the wild Atlantic coast you can not go wrong here! A beautiful place, and a fabulous house to stay in! "

"The property was very spacious and very clean with everything we needed. It was perfect for us. Noreen was helpful when asked questions but also gave us 100% privacy. Description was very accurate and no complaints at all. If you are looking for peace, nature and spaciousness this is the place for you. Brandy the dog’s daily visits were also sweet as she is a very well behaved dog."
