"This hotel proved to be a true escape. The grounds and surrounding area are absolutely beautiful, providing a natural playground for our children who spent a happy morning just exploring. If we weren't on a tight schedule, we could have easily treated this as a destination resort. Adding to the delightful experience was a very good breakfast each morning. "We stayed here on a drive back from Croatia to the UK. It is pretty out the way from anywhere especially when we stayed as everywhere in the small village was shut. The property was unique clean and good fun to stay in. We cooked dinner and were amazed by the dishwasher. The views from the main room and dining area were beautiful. Easy check in and out"

"als Familiendomizil sehr zu empfehlen! Das Häuschen liegt super, in der Vorsaison sehr ruhig. Tipp: Öffnungszeiten dringend beachten, vorallem die Mittagspause... Wanderungen auch mit unseren kleinen (7 Monate und 4 Jahre) sehr gut möglich! Empfehlung Edelrautehütte inkl Scheibelsee! Wir hatten 2 tolle Wochen (die erste total verregnet - durch das sehr gute Angebot - aber überhaupt kein Problem) und werden nächtes Jahr wieder Urlaub bei unseren sehr netten österreichischen Nachbarn machen. "No water in the room and no tea and coffee or kettle in the room. They only have single beds and no double. Strangest thing is the toilet has no sink- very unhygienic- you have to go to the shower room which is separate to wash hands at the sink. "
