"This is it. The rustic inn is only accessible by a handsome Swede driving a snowmobile, who comes to pick you up at the car park, carting your luggage padded by reindeer pelts. (You can also easily walk to the cars, which is only about 1/4 mile downhill from the Inn.) You can hop on your skiis and glide down to the nearest ski lift, popping back in for a fantastic lunch. "Friendly staff, our questions and requests were always addressed right away. Room is very clean. Good water pressure for showers. Awesome breakfast. The only trade-off is the uphill walk to get to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Location is fantastic - very easy access to town using the free train or a 15-20 minute walk. All staff were lovely and helpful. Great breakfast. Only downside is that the rooms are dated but given what we paid for the room we would definitely stay again. Bathtub and sauna a big plus! "

"Hotel TOTT i a classic place to stay in Åre. It'c conveniently located upp hill from the small city. You can take the lift directly from the hotel to ski, or walk down to the center in 5 minutes. It's a bit steep to walk back up again, but hey, it's the mountains. Tott is great for families with kids. The pool, gym and spa is spacey and nice. The food is good (make reservations ahead if you want to have dinner there in the nights) and the breakfast is great. 7/10 would recommend."

"Nice, cozy hostel in beautiful place. Worth that money. In the picture you see a house in which we stayed. In that you find 4 rooms ( we were 9 inkl children and had 2 rooms). Every room has a sink inside the room. Downstairs there are two toilets, little kitchen with everything for easy cooking, not avancerad but enough and two newly renovated showers. Nice surrounding and friendly owner."
