"We had a wonderful stay in Gianluca’s house. The place is an oasis of peace and tranquility amidst nature, with breathtaking views of the Monte Argentario coast. The garden has sun as well as natural shade from the (scented) pine trees throughout the day. There is access (by car) to the private (!) beaches of Scorpaciate and La Canelle (only 5 minutes drive; private parking and beach front dining) and to the Sassi Verde beach right below the house (well accessible by foot via a narrow downhill...

"The property itself is beautiful and provides expensive views of the sea. However, within five minutes of our arrival, we were asked if we needed towels )um, yes?). We were then charged 10 euro for a few threadbare towels. The screens were taped together and ineffective against mosquitoes. We were told not to drink the tapwater at the cottage and not even one small bottle of water was provided to hold us over until we could get back to town. Cottage needs maintenance and minimal stocking."

Die Wohung war dank Fliegengittern an allen Türen und vielen Fenstern stechmückenfrei, die Küche war gut ausgestattet und der Garten drum herum bot viele Möglichkeiten zum Spielen für die Kinder. Eine ganze Kiste voll Spielzeug und die Tischtennisplatte ließen keine Langeweile aufkommen. Die Vermieterin wohnt im Haus und ist sehr hilfsbereit.
