"Savhotel Amelia Bologna was an excellent experience. We reserved a junior suite, and it certainly was the right choice. Our room was very spacious with plenty of places to put our luggage. The restroom was also very spacious and clean. The hotel is well laid out and the amenities are top notch. We took advantage of the evening bar, as well as the gym. Both were very nice. The hotel is conveniently located, and we were able to walk to local bars and restaurants. Above all, the best part of this hotel is their service! Annapaola greeted us upon arrival. We had a long day prior, and her delightful demeanor made our evening much more pleasant. We asked for a recommendation for dinner to which we could walk, and she quickly shared one of her own favorites. This was a restaurant that we never would have found ourselves, but was possibly one of the best meals we have ever had. In the morning, she again greeted us as we checked out, and volunteered to hold our luggage and call a taxi after we returned from breakfast, which she did a couple hours later. Service like Annapaola provided is not common, but makes one’s travel experience a 10+! We will not hesitate to return to the Savhotel Amelia Bologna!"

"Over all a good stay, location over the street from Central Station was ideal for day trip to Florence, and only 7 minutes by monorail to airport. Nice staff. Very clean. Would stay again if better room at a cheaper rate. I was disappointed in the room, I booked a more expensive balcony room. Room was on the top floor, in the roof and the "balcony" was a space in the mansard, surrounded by a concrete barrier, no view. This part of the hotel is adjacent to a public food court & thoroughfare that was noisy when the 'balcony' doors were open. The hotel has it's own lovely green courtyard, so when booking I presumed I'd be overlooking this area. I would've asked to be moved but overheard that the hotel was fully booked, as was apparent the next morning with dozens of coach trip seniors at breakfast. I received no reply to the "How was your check-in" email hence this public review. "

"It was quick - just a stopover before traveling on. It is very close to the train station, so it suited my purposes. "

"The room and hotel facilities were excellent. There is a nice grass area where our two small dogs enjoyed playing. And we received excellent service at the reception desk. Carolina was particularly helpful in giving us directions to a pasticceria. I will definitely come back. "

"The room we had was spectacular. The location is great. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the tub drain stopper in our room got stuck so the water wasn’t draining properly. We had to ask for staff’s help a few times. We were offered a change rooms but the other room was smaller so we decided to stay. It was a minor issue. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. "

"Ok, it’s about 20 mins walk from train statio. There is a bus stop yards from the hotel. The room I got was clean (and cleaned everyday) with ample room, a desk if you need to work, a safe, good hanging space, area to unload from suitcase, good size bathroom (shower not bath) and quiet neighbourhood. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a bar which I don’t get time to visit. Breakfast was fine. Ok limited cereals and scrambled eggs for vegetarians but there is a reasonable enough options and TBH, I was filled and happy with what I got. No complaints. The one minor drawback and it has been mentioned, walls are little paper thin. I could hear conversations in the next room but then again they were talking a bit too loud and being night probably had some drinks beforehand. I had my earphones, so I was fine and TBH, bed was comfy and I slept fine. There is a fresh set of slippers for you and your partner and coffee/tea making facility. A paid mini bar is also present but I didn’t partake. There are decent restaurants nearby and a convenience store (albeit slightly overpriced imho) but it’s errr convenient so I’m fine with that. All in all, I got a good stay for a very good price and I was fine with it. If you are there to explore the city, this is a well priced place to stay. Busses run into the early morning. For the price I paid, I was more than happy with the hotel to accept it being slightly out of town. Good value. Good place "
