"Always a nice place to stay "

"Pros: Enjoyed our stay at Sanctuary. Beautiful views, accommodating, friendly staff; spacious rooms. Very good food, though pricey. Cons: Store sells tacky clothes and counterfeit bags, but doesn’t have basic items like t’s with resort logo, sundry items, etc. Spa staff sometimes put out nuts, sometimes didn’t; and didn’t replenish ice. Pool area nice, though couple of pots of fake flowers didn’t exude class. Could’ve also used slow-close toilet seat in room bathroom."

"The villas are the way to go! So spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for the family. Full kitchen which was nice to have and also the large living room."

"This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at before; had it been a lower price range, I would adjust my expectations accordingly. The interior spaces (lobby, rooms, bar) are beautifully designed. However, most of the interactions I had with the staff were questionable at best. The pool was closed “for cleaning” for most of the day on a Saturday but then I was told by the same staff member that it was closed for a “private event”. The pool was the main reason I selected this property, so that we’d be able to easily access it with our spa visit. Instead they sent us to the pool on the completely other side of the property, which looked like a sad motel pool, bathroom was filthy. There’s no QR code/menu/phone number listed anywhere at the sad motel pool to be able to place a food order, so you just have to navigate it from the hotel website with the restaurant menu; you have to call the front desk to get connected to in room dining). It seemed like the person taking my order had no idea where this pool was located & asked me where it was. By the time we had lugged all of our bags to the second flr, we come to find the room keys were never activated. The stay seemed to be looking up when we got some great cocktails from the main bar in the lobby, but then come to find out when the pool finally reopened from the“cleaning/private party”, it took 45 min to get our drinks from the pool bar and they were incorrect. It was clear our server completely forgot to place the order"

"Clean room, helpful kind staff, pool area under construction for new additions, though we enjoyed the lazy River 2 days. It’s not upscale, good family resort though. Enjoyed good drinks and nachos at pool. "
