"This is a lovely apartment with a gorgeous view of the sea. It is comfortable, quiet, and feels very safe. The taxi will take you from the ferry dock to the apartment for 10 euros. The roads are safe to walk and bike. There are beaches in easy walking distance. Plan to shop for groceries at the supermarket in the main town and phone a taxi to take you back, though, because it is too far to walk with a week's worth of food/drink. There is a mini shop about 15 minutes walk that is good for snacks...

"The house is by itself up the valley with a beautiful view to the mountains. It is very well appointed with every need catered for. The hosts are super responsive and generous with food and gifts. "

"Plus: Wonderful terraces overlooking Kalamata. Negative: This is a stone house and can be quite cold. We successfully heated the living room area, but could not heat the lower bedroom. Also the house is a long way up a winding road and somewhat out of town."
