Holiday Home 'Gîte Hortensias' with Terrace and River View

Between Arles-sur-Tech and Amélie-les-Bains, in the heart of Vallespir, this gîte welcomes you to a peaceful, green setting. Located in the hamlet of Pla Bernardou, it is part of a renovated house with two adjoining gîtes, each with its own private entrance.



Surrounded by a river, wooded hills, and Catalan heritage, it’s the perfect base to explore the region. Set off on foot or by bike along the greenway that follows the former railway to the spa town of Amélie-les-Bains. Arles-sur-Tech enchants with its Romanesque cloister, narrow streets, and lively market. Many hiking trails start nearby, and the banks of the Tech, just opposite, invite you to fish or swim. Also discover the Catalan Pyrenees Regional Nature Park, Roussillon vineyards, Céret, Collioure, and the region’s historic villages.



The accommodation (65 m², sleeps 4):

- Ground floor: equipped kitchen with dining area (dishwasher, microwave, freezer, washing machine), separate living room with TV, access to a private covered terrace with garden furniture and electric barbecue.

- Upstairs: bedroom 1 with 160 x 190 cm bed, bedroom 2 with 160 x 190 cm bed, bathroom with WC.



Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, baby equipment (cot available). Shared enclosed parking. Owners’ vegetable garden at the back. The owners live on site and remain discreet.
