"Peaceful, historical and rustic property with welcoming service. In early January, only 1 restaurant was open. We walked Le Voie Vert to Lamalou les Bains for lunch. It was about a 40 minute stroll. Uber doesn't work. We used a taxi service to get to and from Béziers. "

"Fantastic spacious house for our group, especially enjoyed the fantastic pool and BBQ area. Beautiful part of France, lots of options (hiking, beaches, city visits etc). So good to have A/C in the bedrooms as it was very hot during our stay. "

"Martine and Raymond were very attentive hosts but also gave us our privacy. We were there during an excessive heatwave but we had the pool to cool off in. We spent most of our time in the pool and the outdoor kitchen area. There are supermarkets nearby and lac du salagou is well worth a visit. "

"Excellent location. Short drives to many outdoor attractions and villages.House has good outside spaces and privacy. Well equiped . Would be good in shoulder season but for summer the house overheats badly because of the glazed stairwell and no shutters or shading to downstairs bedroom. Upper loft very uncomfortable. Air conditioning is a joke. Undersized portable unit in loft area only which is noisy and innefective. Felt house was not correctly advertised as we relied on some form of air con coming here in mid summer. Lots of mosquitos. Bring Raid plug in units with you and this works ok."

"Chateau Autignac was the perfect place to unwind from a hectic week. The suite we had was magical and the wine offering from the "in-house" winery was mouthwatering. 5/5 can wholeheartedly recommend and will return!"

"Could not expect such a great place and such a cordial reception after driving a couple hours up and up… Nicely respirated previously abandoned house became a cozy home for the owners and for us! We had only 1 night, if I knew, I would booked a week. The stone walls of this small village smell history… Nice cozy room, clean, quiet… only heard old church bell at 6am, was sleeping like a baby! Breakfast was with eggs and nice yoghurt, cold cuts… all you need before long drive. If I knew owner Outi could cook dinner for us (it was Monday evening), we definitely would better asked her to cook. She and her husband (on top of his business and professional repairman he plays musical instruments… also professionally) for the high season open a restaurant, and they have a beautiful court / garden in front of their house. All produce is local and soooo delicious! And they can deliver! Good job, guys! Wish you many good guests and a great season! We will be definitely back!"
