The Villa itself is nice but there are so many little things the owners need to take care of, we can't give a good rating. Many issues seem small on their own, but all in all combined it just doesn't fit to the described luxurious house. A lot of these things were already mentioned in other reviews, i.e. missing towel holders, broken tiles, broken mirrors, broken bed frames, rusty dishwasher, broken window glass (covered with black foil), broken patio locks, leaking water heater - the list goes on and on. Contrary to the described calm area, there is a construction side right across the street. The safe wasn't usable, as you couldn't close the door properly. One toilet cistern was leaking and thus constantly refilling. Neither hot water nor a working pool pump the during the first days. Missing tiles (you could just start digging in the plain earth) due to prior water damage that just got covered with a plank.
Multiple visible break in attempts (actually including a successful one during our stay) and we got a wooden stick (like somebody else mentioned) to "secure" the patio doors. To top everything, various people just enter the house on their own (once for dropping a missing key, once for pool cleaning) without prior notice.
The owner and cleaning personell all seem nice, it's a pity they just let that property decay and don't do necessary maintenance.
On a positive note, the pool is nice, the working equipment and kitchen as well, also the area is really welcoming .
