"Increible estancia"

"We have fond memories of staying in this unique little house near the river. The inside decor was unique and clever. We loved hearing the town's church bells chime 7:00am...and a few minutes later we could see boats floating right past our window. We enjoyed watching river activities from the large 2nd floor deck. Elsa and Fillippe were incredible hosts. We were welcomed with a vase of flowers cut from their yard, pastries and wine. We asked Elsa to recommend a local restaurant one night - and...

"Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."

"Large property with extensive gardens, providing everything you could want on holiday. Content to sit by the window and watch the boats going up and down the river, very relaxing. Lovely pool, although sadly unable to use it because of the weather. Tiago was very helpful and responded immediately to any queries. Would thoroughly recommend!"
