"We had another reservation in Appomattox Va to stay for the night. It was a horrible experience. As we have traveled from Tennessee to Appomattox Va to pack up my mons house after the passing of my dad. We looked for another hotel and found the Appomattox Inn. Made our reservations and turned in our room keys at the desk of the other Hotel. Told them we wouldn't be staying and left. After being greeted at the desk from a very kind and friendly young man (whom i cant remember his name) Wednesday evening July 29th. We signed our papers, got our room keys and settled in fir the night. Everything in our room was refreshing, and clean. We freshened up, and settled into bed for the night. It was night and day from the other hotel to the Appomattox Inn. The best experience for our family especially through this difficult time losing my dad and my mom feeling so empty. We all slept very well and were so pleased with everything even our hot breakfast. Thank you and God's blessings to the Appomattox Inn. Whom ever stays here in this Hotel will never be disappointed."

"We found this home's online description & photos to be a very good match to what we found. The home was well supplied & very clean. There was sufficient living space for our family of 9 adults and 1 teenager. The game room had numerous options for play, e.g., 4 arcade consoles, air hockey, etc. There were sufficient number of tv consoles through the home. Kyle, the owner, was very responsive to any questions or issues we had, of which there were few & minor in nature. The pool area was clean with numerous seating, lounges, chairs, & tables with umbrellas. The pool water was crystal clear and didn't require heating (note extra fee for propane to heat pool). There was a hot tub, but we didn't use it. We used the grill & fire pit. Our only issue with the house was for a person with mobility issues. The steps to the lower level were quite steep & difficult to navigate & taller people had to watch bumping heads going down. Another problem was the only stand alone shower on lower level. It had a high edge to step over & no grab bar to assist making it easier to access.Surrounding area had numerous breweries, wineries, distilleries & a meadery within a short drive. The immediate area (Lovingston) had limited dining options, but most of the aforementioned establishments had food on site & Amherst, about 15 miles away, had numerous restaurants. There were a few apple and peach orchards & farmer's markets nearby.Overall, we would vacation here again & recommend others try it, too."

"Cabin was very clean and the host was exceptionally thoughtful, providing for almost everything you could need! Very pleased with this booking! Ideally located for motorcycle enthusiasts too, with just a short ride to the bottom of Skyline Drive and the top of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had a question and the host was very responsive and helpful. Excellent experience!"

"Location was great, right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Be sure to take screenshots of your check-in code before arriving as there’s spotty Wi-Fi so we couldn’t even call the host. We drove down the road until we got LTE bars on cell phone and then we could check in. Bed was comfy, shower good. Lots of privacy; didn’t hear the neighbors in the cabin next to Dripping Rock. Didn’t use the big tub. Loved the quiet location & all the fireflies. Saw lots of deer & bunnies. Arrived during the Canadian wildfire smoke so that obscured a lot of views. Be sure to visit nearby Sherando (?) Lake nearby: nice beach, outdoor shower, swim to an island, hike trails around it (no lifeguard so be attentive), campsites, picnic tables. Glad we picked it and way quieter than the massive Wintergreen resort."
