Set in peaceful El Prado, conveniently located between the town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley and just 2 miles from charming Arroyo Seco, El Nido offers the best of both worlds: room to slow down and enjoy the beauty and quiet of northern New Mexico, while keeping you close to skiing, restaurants, galleries, shops and outdoor adventures.

The Home

El Nido was professionally designed to feel unmistakably Taos—warm, comfortable, relaxed and connected to the surrounding landscape.
Inside, you'll find authentic Southwestern details, inviting gathering spaces and three comfortable bedrooms with plenty of room for family or friends. One of the home’s most remarkable features is the way it frames the surrounding landscape. As you move from room to room, each window becomes a different viewfinder—revealing a different light, perspective and mood across the same beautiful high-desert scene and mountains to the south. The view changes throughout the day, making the landscape feel like part of the home itself.
El Nido’s character is found in the details: traditional adobe construction, vigas, a kiva fireplace and a well-stocked chef’s kitchen. Outdoors, the portal is a favorite gathering place, with a large stone table for long meals together and a hot tub perfectly situated to enjoy the mountain views.

The Outdoor Experience

Some of the best moments at El Nido happen outside.
Wake to a beautiful sunrise and start the morning with coffee in the crisp mountain air. Spend the afternoon exploring. Then come home, pour a glass of wine and watch the light change across the high desert as the sun goes down.
After dark, look up. Away from city lights, northern New Mexico's night sky can be extraordinary.
