Cosy town house in Artá

Beautiful and very well maintained house in the centre of Artá.

If you are looking for accommodation to spend a pleasant holiday with your family and friends, you will find the comfort and charm you are looking for in Alcariot.

Capacity for 12 people.

This beautiful townhouse offers you a successful combination of tradition and modernity on 250 square metres and is divided into several floors:

On the ground floor you will find the living-dining room and a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare your favourite dishes during your holiday. Furthermore, there is 1 bedroom with double bed and with bathroom en suite.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms, two of them with two single beds each and another one with a double bed . Also these bedrooms have a bathroom en suite.
A few steps lead to the next floor, where there are two more bedrooms, each with 2 single beds and en suite bathrooms.
The house is fully air-conditioned (hot/cold) and there is a fireplace in the living room for cosy winter evenings.

Enjoy the beautiful patio where you can spend pleasant moments reading a book or having a drink in good company. From here you can access a spa area to cool off on hot days. There is also an outdoor toilet.
From the roof terrace you have an unforgettable view over beautiful Artá!

Overall, we loved our stay in Arta. The house is beautiful and comfortable and fit our family of 9 well. The location is great, within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. We were able to park in a free public lot near the house. There is a lot of info provided in the welcome email including what to do if the water doesn’t work and trash pick up. Arta is a great little town! There is an amazing market in n Tuesdays. The downside of our visit, ants in the main bedroom even though there was no food in there. We were told this is an island wide problem but it would have been helpful to have ant traps set out. The spa did not work. It did not heat up and the pump was so loud that it could not be left on if we were sitting in the courtyard. We notified the agency more than once. They did send someone one time to look at it and it stopped working again within a half hour. We were told by this worker that the spa had ongoing issues and never worked correctly. When I emailed the agency that it was still not working and we would like to be compensated, they said they would send someone to fix it. We never saw anyone come to look at it a second time and It was never fixed and my request was ignored. This was a huge disappointment as the beautiful looking spa was a selling point, especially for the children and they were not able to use it. We do feel like this was an inaccurate listing as the agency had prior knowledge of the spa not working correctly.

Sehr schönes Stadthaus in zentraler Lage
Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt mit den 11 Personen unserer Familie (4 - 78 Jahre). Das Haus ist in sehr zentraler Lage, so dass sich alles fußläufig erreichen lässt. Das Stadthaus verfügt über einen schönen Innenausbau. Die Schlaf- und Badezimmer in den oberen Geschossen sind sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Je nach Temperaturen nutzt man den Patio oder die Dachterrasse mit netter Aussicht über die Dächer. Leider konnten wir bei Ankunft das Bade-und Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss wegen starker Stockflecken und entsprechenden Geruchs nicht benutzen. Dies wurde nach 3 Tagen mit chlorhaltigen Reinigungsmitteln behandelt, so dass wir uns auf 4 Schlafzimmer zusammengerückt sind (es gab ein Beistellbett). Wenn alle 11 Personen zusammensitzen wollten, musste man die Stühle zwischen den Terrassen und den Essbereich etwas umverteilen. Der Parkplatz war in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, am Haus konnte problemlos ein- und ausgeladen werden.
