"We stayed at Furneaux Lodge while walking the Queen Charlotte Track in February, 2024. After hiking the ~10 miles on the first day through a symphony of cicadas and outstanding views, feeling hot and tired, we walked into the magical oasis that is Furneaux Lodge. The setting is absolutely dreamy with a large grassy yard leading down to a pretty beach. It feels tranquil and elegant. We'd splurged on a suite and were astounded by how beautiful it was. "This was a lovely place to stay. The house was cozy warm thanks to the fireplace. The set up worked well for our group of 2 couples and 1 teen. Even a bit of rain did not affect our stay in anyway. Troy the owner was extremely helpful with tips during our stay. I highly recommend having an outdoor bath. It was really lovely."

"The house is very well equipped and is private. Awesome deck which looks out to bush and a reserve. The beds are very hard, which was the only down fall for us. If you like a hard bed then the house is perfect."
