"I'm so glad I stayed at Marcia's apartment. It's a very welcoming place with all the amenities, and Marcia helped me throughout my stay. She was very attentive and caring. The apartment is close to malls and restaurants. I will definitely return to Barbados and stay here again. I recommend it 1000000%!"

"Property is very hard to find. Owner was very adamant that electricity should not be on whole time. There's only 1 A/C unit and hostes was very upset that we kept it on over night (was very hot). There was hardly water to shower, it just trickled out. Cook stove didn't work properly"

"The apartment was perfect for what we needed. The host was great and very helpful. The convenience of the beach restaurant right down stairs was perfect and the fact that it is beachside is amazing. It really was a home away from home. Charles and Garvin were suitably impressed. "

"We stayed at 89 Heywood Park for 10 days, enjoyed the peacefulness of the Neighbour hood, short walk to a nice quiet beach as well as Speightown, meals are reasonable priced at local restaurants in Speightown, always shopped at Jordan’s, good value for money, would consider staying again."

"We absolutely loved the setup of this VRBO. The property features three spacious bedrooms with plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. It’s located in a great area, with everything you might need just a short 5–6 minute drive away.
The host was fantastic, easily accessible and close by in case any issues came up, which gave us great peace of mind. He also recommended a nearby fish fry at Oistins Bay (I believe it was Pat’s Place), where the portions were generous and the food was...

"Overall, ideal location, satisfactory facilities, obliging housekeeper managing her best whilst manager/ owner away. Room not ready on arrival, given temporary alternative. No hot water for three days."

Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle All Inclusive Resort

"Beautiful grounds. Great restaurants. The rooms are very luxurious - especially the bathtubs. Entertainment is great too! Kids loved the pool. I do wish there were more pools for the kids to enjoy. Booking reservations for dinner was a nightmare though. We couldn't book in advance, were staying a week and on night one there was a restuarant already entirely booked! How does that even happen?! Also no kids in restaurants after 8pm!!! Finally check in was awful. We got there on time - rooms not ready & told to go eat first so we did - 2+ hours later rooms still not ready. I almost cried. They finally became available. That was completely unacceptable. Property was fine - but on the south part of the island so beaches not good (Sargasm) and far from the Main areas. Resort amenities made up for that with peppered in excursions. "
"The property is stunning.and very well kept. An upgrade to a contemporary suite is worth the extra money in my opinion. The staff were attentive and friendly. Housekeeping was great. The beach is beautiful, but unfortunately, seaweed is a huge problem. There is a shuttle to another beach though. The resort is close to the airport, but not much else. The food was very good. We enjoyed our stay very much."
"I had a great stay at this hotel in Barbados and would definitely recommend it, especially for travelers looking for something comfortable and affordable.
The location is very convenient—about 15–20 minutes from the airport—and check-in was quick and easy. We arrived early and were welcomed with complimentary drinks at the pool bar, which was a nice touch.
The property is clean and well-maintained, with a nice pool area, on-site shopping, and a restaurant. The beach is just a short walk away, and there’s also a restaurant right on the beach. It’s also within walking distance to St. Lawrence Gap for food, shopping, and entertainment.
The rooms are set up like apartments, with full kitchens and private balconies. Everything was clean and comfortable, making it a great option for longer stays.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. While a few housekeeping staff weren’t as pleasant, it didn’t impact the overall experience.
This is a solid mid-range option price wise—older, but well-kept—and a great value compared to more expensive resorts."
"The hotel was nice and centrally located. They definitely need to do some renovations as the wear and tear is showing. Overall a great vacation and the hotel staff were excellent."
