"We enjoyed our stay as a family. Just a misunderstanding about the supply of towels. Coming from New Zealand we expected them to be automatically supplied. Sebastien kindly sorted it though. Enjoyed village and surrounding area was very interesting. Great castles and historic ww1 sites. Thanks."

"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"First, as travelers from the US, we are used to having a lot of space. This house had plenty of it and it was perfect for our family of 6. "Lovely modern apartment in a quiet area of Colmar. Very well and thoughtfully equipped with most things that you require for your stay. The place was immaculate with modern touches like the electronic windows and blinds controlled by remote controls which are placed throughout. Good sized bathroom with a good shower. "We stayed at La Distillerie for four nights and loved every second. We started our days by walking to the U supermarket for our baguette, through the vineyard, after coffee of course. Sitting out in the private garden was a delight. Especially in the evenings with a glass of vino. The location was great. The train station, just one minute away, got us to Strasbourg via rail, we drove everywhere else."

"We have just enjoyed 4 nights in the apartment (more like a one floor cottage) with the most spectacular views. The owners were very helpful and the property was spotlessly clean and set in beautiful gardens. We ate on the balcony and enjoyed the vista. Everything was exactly as you would wish for with modern design and lovely beams. I can highly recommend this apartment and the surrounding area was stunning. We wish we had booked for a week. "Just a lovely gite inside Turckheim’s old walls, wonderful shower, nice kitchen, very quiet and comfortable, plenty of space for a couple with a few small kids. The only negative was limited parking right near the gite, but plenty of parking a 3-4 minute walk away just outside the old town wall. We’ll definitely be going back here!!"
