"Great location and a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the balcony with sea view. It would have been nice to have a Nespresso or similar coffeemaker in the room and to have a new bottle of water every day not just on the first day"

"The rooms were very clean and stylishly decorated. It reminded me of a luxury hotel from the 1980s. With one exception, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was quite good and plentiful. I wouldn’t have dinner there again. It was good, but way too expensive —as if it were Michelin-starred cuisine. All in all, the atmosphere at dinner was far too stuffy for my liking. Ascona and the surrounding area have many fantastic restaurants, and they’re all worth visiting. Overall, we found the hospitality to be excellent, and we’ll definitely stay at this hotel again on our next visit."
