"The villa was comfy and well kitted out and the setting was amazing. The villa is beginning to show its age. The photos on Vrbo need updating as there is no pool and the garden needs some TLC. Kate was helpful in answering any questions."

"A lovely house with a beautiful garden and a great atmosphere. Add to this a very attentive and helpful owner and Rome easily accessible. All in all, we really enjoyed our holiday in this lovely house. With airconditioning in the bedrooms, the stay would have been perfect ;-) "

"The property was amazing the pool was big and we had lots of fun there the owners were so helpful and friendly the local town was close and had everything you need restaurants and local shoes etc. the views were superb Rome is only an hour drive perfect place we will be returning at some point thankyou"

"First European trip in a while. 6 of us. Lovely location very peaceful. Well appointed villa with tasteful decoration. Fantastic pool and views. The climate control in the villa is amazing and a very welcome break from the midday heat. We had 3 day trips into Rome for sightseeing and Gelato. We had a fantastic time. Paolo and Lucia kindly Brought us a Lasagne one evening. Sorry to have to leave."

"This was a very unique stay … in an authentic palace! Staff treat you like royalty. Superior room was a large living room suite with additional bedroom! Excellent and plentiful breakfast every morning. Easy to walk to cafes, restaurants and shops and Villa de Este and Villa Gregoriane. City bus to Villa Ariana. Hotel also arranged my transfer back to airport in Rome with Marco a professional driver. Perfect! "
