"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very well stocked and maintained house with tons of cottage charm. On a quiet street in the heart of Harpswell, it's a lovely spot for vacation."

"Immaculately clean and comfortable. The house is well stocked with basic provisions---TP, coffee, condiments, etc. Easy communications with host (who is gracious and accommodating).The setting is secluded and quiet. Lovely. Book in mid-July, and you'll have a bumper crop of blackberries to pick from bushes on the property."

"The kitchen in the cottage was wondrous! It had every appliance and cutlery that you could ever ask for. Plus a washer/dryer. The entire cottage was in great shape and it never felt too small, even after 4 weeks. If you're looking forward to eating some seafood while you're there, there are plenty of restaurants near-by. You would not go wrong to decide to use this cottage in the future."
Quaint Retro Ash Cove Cottage

"This was my first time in Maine and the cottage was perfect for our trip. I met a friend there for the week & we loved our time in Harpswell at the cottage. Chuck and Lynne were accommodating, happy to show us how light switches worked inside the home, and brought us a loaf of apple bread upon our arrival. They even popped over one evening to offer us tomatoes from their garden, which was perfect for the dinner we made that evening. The cottage was quaint and cozy. The dimmable lighting in the living room was an especially nice touch on our nights of relaxing. The back porch was a perfect place to have a nightcap and read a book with the fresh Maine air coming through the windows. The cottage was stocked with books, games, brochures on Maine activities, and all the supplies we needed for cooking our own meals. The beds were comfortable. I especially loved the bed up in the loft. I definitely recommend staying in this cottage if you take a trip to Maine. Thank you, Chuck and Lynne, for making our stay memorable."

"We stayed here for the last two days of a New England trip in August, and it is one of the best VRBOs I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The view from the deck is spectacular and we really enjoyed sipping wine and watching the harbor in the evening and seeing the lights come on, on Bailey's Island across the way. The beds and furniture were very comfortable, even the sofa bed in the second bedroom. It's an air mattress that inflates by a connected compressor, I'd never seen one before.Cook's Note: We cooked every breakfast and dinner there. The kitchen is very well stocked, it has an abundance of Corningware. There's an 8" and 10" Stainless skillet, but nothing larger. I used a stockpot for an ad hoc wok. The appliances are brand new. They have an induction cooktop, which I had fun using. You should bring any spices or sauces you might need. There was some olive oil and canola oil in the cupboard. The knives are sharp."

"If you want peace and tranquility, this is your plans for stay. The house sets on the water with amazing sunsets and you may even see dolphins and seal throughout the day along with the lobster boats. This may not be a modern home, but if you want the New England rustic feel with a view, this is the place for you. Thank you for a great week, we will definitely return."
