"We felt very comfortable in this cottage and especially enjoyed the recent construction, the spacious feeling, large windows, beautiful view, and wonderful location. This was our first visit to Stover’s Cove and Harpswell. We had stayed on Bailey Island a few years ago while visiting friends there. The even quieter atmosphere of Harpswell suited us perfectly, with its beauty, tranquility, history, and great food. Of course, Pammy’s Ice Cream was one of our favorite local treats!Everything guests might need was provided. It felt as though the owners had taken the time to "put themselves in their guests’ shoes.""

"The property is very nice. Unfortunately we were in town for a funeral and not a vacation. We needed a place to stay for 5 adults and this fit the bill. If we were to come on a vacation, I would definitely look up this property and give it another try. The house is very nice, new-ish, well appointed, and very clean.There are a few maintenance items that should be addressed. The door to the first floor bathroom does not latch shut. There is a small leak in the basement dripping near the washer. Not sure if it is a drain or tub leak from above. Couldn't figure out how to use the air fryer/toaster oven. it wasn't intuitive and there was no owner manual (as so much of the other appliances had). We did get to walk the beach. It was so nice and not too busy. Note that if you walk to the beach from the house, it would not be good for a senior with balance issues. Could easily twist an ankle or fall. Remember to not walk down the road by the house. It is someone's private road (as we were warned by the owner). The trail to the beach is along the property's black fencing. If you need to drive down as we did, the road is narrow and hard to find. Two way traffic is not easy so if you use something other than all-wheel drive you could get stuck.All in all, I would recommend this rental. We did not bring pets so cannot judge from that perspective, but I can say that you couldn't tell that pets were allowed (No smells or damage or dirtiness.)"

"The place was absolutely perfect and exactly as described. Lobster boat races were great family fun hiking and walking distance to stovers point preserve. Will definitely be coming back but with the boat next time"

"You can't beat the view! The owners have done a beautiful job remodeling this home. There is a lobster pound nearby and a nice pot in the house to enjoy your lobster dinner. The hiking trails in the area are wonderful. We had a memorable week and we hope to visit again. "

"Comfortable vintage-style cottage with fully appointed kitchen and cabinet of staples and condiments. Delightful open porch and also closed-in sun room, both with gorgeous view. Sleeps many, though we were only two and used master bedroom on first floor. Location perfect for walking and exploring beaches and land preserves. Host very easy to communicate with. We had a lovely stay!"
