This home is a wonderful escape into history. Ask about discount for 4 night long weekends and 7 day weekly Rentals! Built in the early 1900s and updated several times, it has only had 5 owners since it's creation. Lots of updates for modern conveniences, but so many original features including wormy chestnut exposed beams, doors, and paneling...you'll feel the century of old charm. The property is very private and includes lots of outdoor activities to enjoy if you're relaxing at the house and around the property. It is one of the closest homes to downtown Asheville you'll find to accommodate larger groups .

Only 5 Miles to the Asheville Airport, 6-7 Miles to downtown Asheville, 4 miles to Blue Ridge Parkway and Biltmore Park. 5 Miles from I-40, 4 Miles to I-26, 7 Miles to Biltmore estate, and located less than 1 mile from so many restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and other nice amenities...you won't have to drive far for anything.

Christmas family vacation

We booked well in advance due to the stay was on Christmas. Bill was very attentive to responding to any questions I had. There was a huge hurricane that went through Asheville and he was informative about the property’s condition. No damages, just the utilities went out and a few trees. My family had a wonderful stay, it checked all the boxes as far as rooms, space, and nearby attractions like the Biltmore estates. Its truely a unique home!

This was a great weekend getaway for a small group of friends, with our kids. The house had the amenities we needed, the property allowed for lots of recreation, and it's in great proximity to some good coffee (Summit Coffee!) and hikes.

The house was just what we needed. Plenty of room, and we love the layout. The location was close to the airport, which we visited 6 times to get family in and out for our grandmother's funeral. Host was very helpful! Very clean.

Excellent Getaway!

We had a small family reunion here recently and everyone loved the property. The house was completely charming, the yard was very expansive and perfect for the kids to play, and the location was very near all that Asheville has to offer!

We really enjoyed staying at this home. It was very unique and everyone loved it. There was plenty of room for all. The only draw back was the bathroom situation. Four bedrooms had private baths. The rest had to share one that was in the basement. It was not convenient.

Great place for a large group!

The property was exactly what we were looking for as we were a large group. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, in addition to the cottage. We especially liked the fire pit and large grass yard where we played lawn games.

Enough bedrooms for the entire family

My family from around the country chose Asheville as the place to spend a long weekend to celebrate Christmas together. This home has enough bedrooms to fit everyone. Yoga retreat

We had a lovely retreat and space to do outdoor yoga at this beautiful space. This old home has a lot of character with clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The owner, Bill, was very responsive to our questions and needs. We would visit again for sure.

Perfect for large families!

Booked for our annual family reunion trip and it was perfect for what we needed! The house is as advertised and everyone fit comfortably, there’s plenty of property outside which was great for the kids and dogs to run around and play and downtown Asheville and other attractions are just a short drive away!
