This place was amazing! We stayed in 6 different places while in Ireland and this was our favorite! It even beats Waterford Castle! Everything about it was great…. The staff, the customers, the room, the food! Thank you Chester Beatty Inn!

Lovely Inn in Ashford, Wicklow Co.

We could not have had a nicer stay at this Inn. All of the employees were nice and accommodating to our family traveling with two small children. They went out of their way many times to make sure we were comfortable. The food was also excellent and the service at the restaurant and bar was outstanding. I would recommend this for couples or families traveling on the area.

Wonderful!

We had an amazing time! Everyone at the Chester Beatty Inn was incredibly friendly, cheerful, & helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was the best we had in all of Ireland. The rooms are charming & clean, and the hotel is well-located. Perfect trip! We will absolutely stay there again.

We had a wonderful room and the bar/restaurant was open and delicious. We were right next to a gas station that had a public washer and dryer which we took advantage of. I highly recommend this inn.

It was the worst stay - room most uncomfortable location. Asked to change the room the answer was I could go but the room would be charged Staff was not friendly and I cannot recommend this hotel

A wonderful example of hospitality

Loved everything about the hotel and the area. Charming, friendly staff. Great Guinness and food. The rambling but well thought out bars, restaurant and outdoor areas made you feel at ease and the staff / owners were amazing. We shall return

The Chester Beatty Inn was our first stay in ireland, and it cound‘t be any better. The people are friendly, kind and just lovely. The food is very very good and the rooms are nice. Every thing was perfect. Thank you very much. Next time again.

Wedding visit

Really enjoyed our stay. We were attending a family wedding nearby. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the bed particularly comfortable. Extra lighting would have been useful in the bathroom as it was a bit dark. The hotel is located in a lovely area with a wonderful garden centre and some good dress shops in Ashford itself.

Everything about this property was spot on. I have always wanted to run an establishment like this and if I ever do I would try to replicate it to a "T". My son loved the space just to throw a ball. There wasn't an opportunity where he didn't want to check out the waterfall right by the outdoor seating. My wife loved the room and bathroom, thinking that we had been given the Bridal Suite. All of us enjoyed the delicious ecsquisitly prepared food and the welcoming yet fun atmosphere of the restaurant. We could have stayed here our entire 2 weeks and still had memories for a lifetime. The proprietors and staff care about your stay and it shows through and through.
