What a wonderful place to stay! The owners were very cordial and offered suggestion about places to go. We particularly loved to Koi pond right off our deck.

Great for our road trip

Amazing location and a very walkable community. Communication was great. The only issue was that it rained and we noticed there was water dripping from the ceiling by the door.

Our room was thoughtfully appointed, clean and comfortable. Cow Slip Bell is a quiet oasis, but conveniently located near the OSF theaters and restaurants. Instructions for parking and checking in were clear and the owner Steve was very helpful. I look forward to staying here again.

I had a wonderful stay in the Rosebud Suite for my first visit to Ashland. It was bigger than expected, lovely porch looking over the koi pond, a private bathroom, and thoughtful, hospitable hosts. Great, quiet neighborhood and an easy, safe walk to theaters, restaurants, and shops. I would love to stay again!

Clean, comfy space near OSF

We stayed in the Lower Suite, a spacious, comfortable, clean, well-appointed space with a full kitchen, soaking tub with jets, separate shower, and a very comfy king bed within walking distance of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Host Steve was friendly and knowledgeable and helped us with finding local spots to hike and fish. Would definitely recommend!

Quaint & Cozy near downtown Ashland

This property was a great find! Although We had one of the smaller units it was almost perfect for just a few nights away. It is walking distance to many restaurants & Lithia Park as well as to OSF Theatre. The hosts were so nice. We really couldn’t have a better stay for the price. We’d happily stay again, but next time we’d stay in a larger unit with a full kitchen.

Steve, one of the property owners, greeted us as we arrived. He showed us around our lodging. He’s highly communicative and very friendly. We loved the overall feel of the property… close to downtown Ashland, near stores, restaurants and of course, the theatre! We plan to return.

The room was nice. It had a little kitchenette. The bed was ok a little hard. Maybe if it had a mattress topper. Other than that the restaurants the shopping and coffee was in walking distance. Over all we really enjoyed our stay. Oh p.s. the owner Steve was really friendly

Beware of third person up-charge & clogged bath

This is a very well-appointed inn in a central location to the best cafes and restaurants of Ashland. Nonetheless my family and I had a strange experience. We booked last-minute where the upper suite was advertised as for 3 people with a king + a twin bed. After we arrived we were informed that for a 3rd person to sleep on the small pull out couch (no longer a twin bed as pictured) there would be a hefty charge. That seemed odd as it penalizes families, children, and elders, and it wasn't listed in the description (apparently it's a hidden charge added when booking for multiple people). The next morning we received a knock at the door requesting the payment, and I asked if we might compromise and split the difference, paying half, given my family was on a budget road trip and it was clearly a misunderstanding in the online booking process. Initially, the innkeepers said, yes, let's just forget it, which was kind. Then a short time later both innkeepers returned, and again requested the payment in a hot tone. I paid the fee of course, but the interaction just seemed unprofessional to offer one thing, then demand another. Also I shared that bathroom tub didn't drain well, there was no dish soap, and a light was out in stairwell, and the innkeepers seemed uninterested in this feedback. The door to bathroom opens outward and at night in the dark it could be possible to trip down the stairway from the bathroom. Notwithstanding this, it is a cute and well-located place.

This was the perfect place to stay. Very charming and cute. Steve, the property manager, was awesome. Not only did he take the time to walk us through everything when we arrived but he also gave us restaurant recommendations where we could take our pups. Highly recommend.
