"This place is, in the best possible way, a blast from the past! A nice, quaint roadside motel with a mountain vibe! Great views of the Catskills from the small hill where there’s a fire pit and Adirondack chairs for relaxation and lounging. Re-read Rip Van Winkle after a fantastic dinner at Deer Mountain Inn as it got dark looking upon the mountains where the story took place. Picturesque and perfect! Had the entire motel to myself and it was so nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful experience!"

"Beautiful unique lodge in the mountains! Lovely staff, super fun games room, tons of amazing hiking, delicious coffee. Fireplaces and soaker tubs, comfy beds and birds!! Truly loved it:) We are plant based and survived and they helped / oat milk and overnight oats were appreciated. My only tiny note is you could hear cars from the patio so its not dead quiet but pretty quiet:) Would def go back!!"

It was close to my family that still lives in G.G. and was convenient for what I needed. Would recommend for anyone that needs to compress from the hustle and bustle of life."
