Thankfully, it was still light out so we could see in our room through the windows, which did leak and we had to use towels from the bathroom to clean up. We were able to get extra towels. "Third party (like Expedia) still have pictures and list features of this hotel that have not been there since 2024. It advertises as a waterpark, despite not being such since 2024. I was charged/paid $280 per night for what I thought would have included a waterpark. Since there was no waterpark, this location should have cost no more than $170, especially considering it is horribly outdated (last remodel was in 2002), moldy smell in the rooms, improperly/inconsistently cleaned, filthy, poor...

"Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area."

"Such a quaint and quiet inn located on the beautiful shore of Lake Superior. Very peaceful and relaxing as you enjoy the shoreline view overlooking the marina. Lakeshore walking path, Ernie restaurant next door. Beautiful area to explore. Bayside is only 10 miles away. We enjoyed our stay !"
