Eagle River Retreat~hot tub~riverfront!

  • IMPORTANT: You are renting the LOWER LEVEL ONLY, not the whole house. Photos are exactly what you get.
    This is a private, 1,400 sq ft walk-out apartment on the Ashtabula River. Owners live upstairs - you may sometimes hear us or our 3 small friendly dogs.
    Sleeps: 8 comfortably (up to 12 if sharing beds) - 7 beds
    What's Outside:
    • 3,000 ft of river access - swim, fish, rock beaches, falls
    • New hot tub for 7 + deck overlooking the river
    • Fireplace, hanging swings, observation deck
    • 9-hole frisbee golf, archery, cornhole, Eagle Park
    Inside: Full kitchen, karaoke, board games, puzzles, all comforts of home.
    Private & Secure: Your space has its own lock. Only shared spaces are the river and the parking lot. Hot tub is serviced in the morning - you can pick a time.

    Location: Minutes to Smolen-Gulf Covered Bridge, Geneva-on-the-Lake, wineries, Lake Erie beaches.

The property was beautiful , Inside and out! The hot tub, corn hole, fire pit and the scenery, were perfect for outside entertainment!! Our group of girls have been doing these getaways for over 20 years, and this stay was definitely one of our favorites!! Arrival was super easy! The host was amazing, was able to answer all my questions, and very helpful with things around the area! House is even better in person than the photos showed. Most everything you could need for cooking and cleaning was there! Beds are soft and comfortable! Even had disco lights and a karaoke machine! Would love to stay here again!

A must stay! Beautiful, peaceful retreat

We stayed here for our annual girls trip and we loved it! The property is so beautiful and the views breathtaking. So peaceful! The hot tub was also a great way to end the day. Our Host was friendly, attentive and very accommodating. We will be back! An added bonus was their sweet little dogs that would come down and visit.

Best Vacation Rental I've Ever Been To

It may be biased because I was here during the 2024 Solar Eclipse, but this was the most lovely property and the layout of the house and outdoor space was amazing. The whole place is so welcoming and well-thought out. The kitchen and inside is also gorgeous. We would definitely come back here in an instant. The sweet little dogs are a bonus and I hope they grace you with their presence.

Eagle River House

Beautiful property located on a quiet river. Great place to get away but still have access to the local wineries and nice restaurants. Lower floor is very clean, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed hiking down by river and sitting by the small waterfalls reading. Perfect place to recharge! Hosts were very responsive and answered all questions. WiFi was fast . Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Perfect weekend

The property was exceptional. The host/hostess have many outdoor activity supplies available for guest to use. The river is amazing, everyone caught fish! We saw eagles, had campfires, relaxed in the hot tub. The home is secluded with nature and peacefulness, yet is accessible to shops and restaurants only a few miles away. The property owners were very pleasant to work with. I’ll give Eagle River House 100 Stars !!!!

All that we hoped and more

Eagle River House did what many properties can’t: Be even better than promised in the pictures. The property is stunning, with gorgeous views of the Ashtabula River from the high-on-a-cliff deck overlook. We enjoyed sipping morning coffee and evening wine with that view. And yes, we saw the bald eagle and great blue heron living their best lives from our perch above the river. The inside of the rental is spacious and stylish, with tons of perfect touches throughout. You won’t be disappointed!

The pictures don't do this property justice. We have stayed all over the country and nothing compares to the hospitality, amenities, quality and beauty of this place. It is truly a destination in itself. It is family and pet friendly, and you have everything you could ever need all in the unit. Not only do the owners take impeccable care of the property and cleanliness is 10/10, but their attention to detail in the quailty of the set up, furniture and decor is VERY impressive. The are friendly, good people who love to share their oaisis of beauty with others. Whether youre into taking hikes and take a short walk down to their waterfall (which has picnic benches and a firepit) or park, or utilize their outlook to view the beautiful river, or want to stay close to home and party in the hottub, sing karaoke, cook a nice meal on the grill or use the full kitchen this place seriously has it all. We already booked our next stay and ive never written a nicer review. You will NOT be disappointed.
