A great place in a sleepy village

This is a very charming hotel in a small sleepy village. Its a bit of a distance from everything, but a great location by the sea. The staff really tried hard to make yourself comfortable, and the hotel has a great atmosphere. Attentive staff who really wants you to enjoy yourself. We were fortunate enough that one of our rooms where number 36, which had a small but charming balcony very close to the sea, where we enjoyed the sunset every night. We chilled and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a bit small for someones taste but we loved it. Great place for a few days of couple or family time. The restaurant had a rather limited menu but the best in the village and served good food. Would have loved to see a fish dish(they had a salmon sandwich, which wasnt really a main course) on the menu and more distinct difference between starters and main course. But overall a gem.

Et døgn i Holmsbu.

Hyggelig betjening. Litt mye rot rundt omkring, men tror det er imagen til hotellet. Vi opplevde kloakklukt på rommet, uteplassen ved rommet kan være hyggelig, men den var ikke stelt, masse ugress og ikke egnet å sitte ved, dessverre. Badet var veldig mørkt og klønete å måtte stå/sitte i badekaret for å dusje. God og delikat frokost.

Mimre - tur Holmsbu

Veldig fint hotell, artig stil innvendig. Ikke mulig å bruke hotellets fasiliteter etter kl:00:00 når det er ungdomsfest på den lokale puben rett ved. Med fare for innbrudd av fulle ungdommer, som vil inn på naspeil.

Pärla vid Oslofjorden

Hotellet är en liten pärla utmed kusten med fantastisk utsikt och vänlig personal. God frukost och ett plus är shuffle board bordet. Rummen saknar dock ventilation och bekvämlighet som handdukstork och fungerande ljus på spegel i badrum. I behov av renovering. Lyhört.

Vart mye tull med rommet. Når vi så fikk rommet var det et lite enkelt rom da det var feil før vi hadde bestilt rom med balkong . Vi skulle være 4 netter så da fikk vi rom med balkong i 2 netter og de 2 andre nettene måtte vi sove på et annet rom . Mye flytting

Holmsbu Badehotell lever alltid

Badehotellet i Holmsbu er en perle som jeg stadig vender tilbake til. Miljøet og servicen er helt fantastisk - man blir alltid tatt imot på aller beste måte. Litt kluss med rengjøring lørdag (usikker på om det var tilfeldig), men ellers tipp topp og anbefales på det aller varmeste!

Sjel og sjarm på Holmsbu

Badehotellet i Holmsbu er fantastisk hyggelig også på vinterstid. Dette er et sted med sjel og sjarm! Personalet gjorde sitt ytterste for å ta oss vel imot, man følte seg virkelig godt ivaretatt. Hotellet var nydelig pyntet til jul. Frokosten beskjeden, men god (det var lite gjester på hotellet). Jeg ville gitt topp karakter på alt hvis det ikke hadde vært for at baderommet ikke helt holdt mål. Det trenger renovering.
