We left Marrakech a day early to escape the motorbike fumes. We booked this property on a whim as it was near the Ourika Valley and we're so glad we did! We drove a rental car and just a word of warning: Do not trust your GPS! This location is quite remote off a dirt road and our map took us on a joy ride through a remote village where we were the only car. This guesthouse is exceptional. Especially for families, but for anyone who likes a green oasis with animals and plants in every corner. The animals are well taken care of, there are activities for kids and adults. The food is delicious. There's a welcome package with info about the farm, mealtimes, activities in the area, and info about Ramadan. The hosts and staff are so friendly and happy to help or chat.

We had a wonderful stay at Chez Momo II. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and there is able patio space to relax and take in the surroundings. Food at the hotel was phenomenal and very reasonably priced. Staff was very easy to work with and accommodating. I would highly recommend going for a guided hike to the “top of the world”. Ask for a guide by the name of Mohammed to show you around. Highly recommend this area of Morocco and this hotel specifically.

I spent 5 nights at Kasbah Africa and it was a tremendous stay and experience for the value. The rooms are spacious and charming with wood stoves and offer beautiful mountain views. The home-style cooking is very traditional but delicious. Travelers should understand this isn't a bit of a more rustic getaway - as long as they keep that in mind, they will enjoy their stay and the magical surroundings.
